Medium to large, muscular cat with bobbed tail and wild appearance. Resembles North American bobcat.
Pixiebob history and origins
Developed in the 1980s from naturally occurring domestic cats resembling bobcats. Despite legends, DNA testing confirms fully domestic origins. Known for dog-like personalities. Polydactyl toes common.
Pixiebob appearance and size
Typically 5-7.7 kg and 36-43 cm at the shoulder — published as one range rather than separately for males and females.
Pixiebob temperament and personality
Generally described as affectionate, social, intelligent, loyal, devoted and active.
