Breed Radar gives each animal a record of its own — dated health events, documents, weights and the paperwork from the day you collected it. You write it, you decide what is public, and you can hand a vet a link without them making an account.
The other half is the review. What you write about the breeder you bought from is what the next buyer can check before they pay — and a breeder can answer it, but cannot have it removed for being negative.

What an owner account gives you
The paperwork from the day you collected your animal is already in a drawer somewhere, and the useful part of its history has not happened yet. An owner account is where that history goes: health events as they happen, dated, in one place you can hand to a vet. Your review of the breeder is the part the next buyer gets to read — and nothing you write here is removed because a breeder asks.
Nothing about your animal is in any public register, so unlike a breeder’s portal, yours does not exist until you make it. That also means nobody has written anything about your animal for you to correct.

Say what actually happened
A review has two halves, before the sale and after it, and the second is the one nobody else collects. The breeder can reply beside it; they cannot have it deleted for being negative.
Decide what stays private
Nothing is published by default. A review can be anonymous, the health record is private until you share it, and you can withdraw either one.
What this does not do: make us part of your purchase. No sale happens through Breed Radar, we cannot recover money for you, and you cannot create a breeder’s portal on their behalf.

Species, breed, date of birth, your own photographs and the paperwork — one record per animal, and none of it public unless you publish it.
Vaccinations, treatments, test results, weights, foods, heat cycles, conditions, check-ups and notes. Dated entries are what a record is for; an undated list is a memory.
Record each cycle on your animal's record and see the next one coming on your notifications page. Nothing is sent to you — the page is where it waits, which is also why nothing about your animal leaves it.
Send one link and they read the health record without signing up for anything. You can revoke it, and it shows them the record rather than your account.

Questions owners ask
What does it cost?
Nothing. An owner account is free and there is no owner plan to buy — no card, now or later.
Can the breeder get my review taken down?
No. A breeder who claims their record can reply beside what you wrote, once, on the record. That is the whole of what claiming gives them: it does not remove, hide or reorder your review. A moderator removes what is not a review — a personal attack, an invented account, or one aimed at the wrong breeder — and disagreeing with you is not one of those.
Can I review without my name on it?
Yes. A review can be signed or anonymous, and you can edit or withdraw anything you have written, before or after the sale.
What exactly does my vet see?
The health record for the one animal whose link you sent, on any device, with no account to make. Not your account, not your other animals, and not your reviews. You can stop the link working whenever you want.
Can you get my money back if the purchase goes wrong?
No, and this is the one to be clear about: no sale is ever made through Breed Radar, no money passes through it, and we are never party to your purchase. We cannot recover a deposit or cancel a contract. What your review can do is reach the next buyer before they pay.
What if I have no paperwork?
Start anyway. A name and a date of birth are all the record needs, and the useful part is what you add after the sale — vaccinations, weights, treatments, each with its own date.
Can I review a breeder I did not buy from?
No. A review covers a purchase you made, in two phases — the conduct before the sale and after it. That is what makes it worth reading, and it is why the scores cannot be padded by strangers.
What happens if I delete my account?
Your animals' records go with it. A published review is a claim somebody else may have relied on, so ask us and a moderator handles it rather than it vanishing silently — the account page says which is which before you press anything.
Start with the animal you already have
The record starts empty. It is worth what you put in it.
Creating it takes a name and a date of birth. Everything after that is the part that matters, and it is the part only you have.
