Medium-sized, shaggy-coated herding dog known for its lively, intelligent, and confident temperament. Has a long, thick double coat that covers its eyes and is valued for its adaptability and energetic work ethic.
Polish Lowland Sheepdog history and origins
Ancient herding breed from Poland descended from herding dogs of the Hungarian plains, used for herding and guarding flocks in lowland regions. Known as Polski Owczarek Nizinny (PON), nearly driven to extinction after WWII but revived by dedicated breeders including a Polish veterinarian.

Males typically stand 46-51 cm at the shoulder and females 43-48 cm.
