Ancient Scandinavian farm dog breed from eastern Denmark and southernmost Sweden, used as versatile all-purpose farm dog for ratting, herding, guarding, and companionship. Officially recognized in Denmark and Sweden in 1987, by FCI in 2008-2019, and The Kennel Club (UK) in 2019
